old polo boat « Thread Started on Oct 7, 2009, 8:38am »
Dave Morgan (you may remember from the alps throwing a flaming toilet roll at the girls) is getting rid of his old polo boat... He said he wants £20, but i recon if you offer to take it off his hands he may accept a beer! but probably just £20.
I think its an old flight, but not sure. It is fairly big and is fairly leaky (this is to be expected given the price) but with some work and patches could last someone some time, and is definitely better than a plastic and probably better than most of the old club fibres.
he can bring it along to a monday night pool session if anyone wants to try it out first, but at the moment the seat is loose, so it would mainly be a test to check how leaky it is.
Anyway... let me know on here or via text and i will liaise with him, the sooner the better as i'm sure he is advertising within the club.

its not fully repairable, as i dont think this would be possible on any fibre boat, but it would be repairable to a degree where it is usable and doesnt leak too much. Fibre sheets would be recommended.
It should be at the pool monday, and i guess Chris has first refusal.... but i imagine if he doesnt want to do the work to it then you would sam!
